Yolteotl: School for Applied Consciousness and Contemporary Shamanic Studies is for serious practitioners who are interested in truly moving the needle of humanity; starting with their own consciousness.
Applied Consciousness: We are focused on expanding perception beyond the ordinary human realm in a cohesive, disciplined, and focused way; while also directly applying our expansion in our daily human lives.
Contemporary Shamanic Studies: We work with the shamanic tools and teachings that make sense within the time we are living.
Diving into this line of study will remake you as a human, it will call you to your greatness, it will give you the capacity to perceive beyond what you can even begin to imagine. There is so much more than the ordinary.

Why the name Yolteotl?
The word Yolteotl comes from the Nahuatl language and is translated into English as the heart of the cosmos.
The primary practices within Yolteotl focus on the teachings of a specific ancient Mexican lineage most famously written about by Carlos Castaneda, Florinda Donner-Grau and Taisha Abelar.
Yolteotl, as the name of the school, is an energetic anchor into the heart of these practices, an under current of generations of serious practitioners, and the wisdom of something far more vast than any singular individual.

BOOK: Transmission: An Anthology on Consciousness, Dreaming and Heart. This book was co-authored by Teo Alfero and the current Yolteotl faculty.
ONLINE: We have a free digital community space in which we offer connection and energetic practices. Here you can connect with the community and ask questions about your spiritual journey. Join us in our free Mighty Network.

CONSULTING: Yolteotl offers corporate and group experiences that can be curated to your group’s needs.
EVENTS AND COURSES:
PATH TO MASTERY: We have a curated line of training courses for those who want to dive into these practices. Our foundational course is a four-month course: The Threshold. Trainings progressively advance through a seven year track that could lead you to become a Yolteotl faculty member.
PRIVATE RETREATS: We offer private and invitation only retreats for those whose decisions impact many. In particular, we work with those who may need a group of shamanic practitioners in their corner as they make big decisions that could sway the path of humanity greatly.
INDIVIDUAL STUDY: We offer a range of options for individuals study from three-call packages with faculty members to year-long engagements with Teo.
Advancing your Study:
For those who complete a Threshold, or two, and want to keep diving in, we offer a series of courses.
The Advanced Training:
For graduates of The Threshold who would like to explore their agency to navigate other realms and truly up level their leadership.
The Masters Continuum:
For graduates of The Advanced Training, this course is two years of training that includes collaborating to create an event. Graduates of this course may be invited to teach, consult and assist as school faculty.
The PhD:
Graduates of The Masters Continuum may apply for this three year training. Within this course, each student chooses a specialization and takes their study beyond the training of the school. Some examples of specialization include: Indigenous Studies, Neurodivergence and Shamanism, Spell Casting and Storytelling.
